2010 Lexus IS 5.0 V8 F (LSD) front side view
2010 Lexus IS-F model. Besides upping the price on the car and threw a few options at no additional cost, the Lexus has made one significant change to the mechanics of this car make-up. And pretty neat, it was a change that we ask them to make. For Lexus, then, to introduce the 2010-model year IS-F fitted as standard with a limited-slip differential mechanically. If the IS-F has the same 417bhp V8 naturally aspirated 5.0-liter, eight-speed automatic gearbox and the same, a little unfortunate when we’re going to explain, the same chassis settings.
Better, if still rather far from being a car-class leaders. If nothing else, that the LSD had to make the IS-F is a more common sight on track. Without proper slippy diff, old cars can be a bit strange on the circuit. Out of the corner is often slow to spin off a 400-horsepower through the wheels of weird. Go faster, at the limit of grip, but also has the capacity to become a little, well, unexpected.
