Alpina plans to introduce, in 2011 Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo based on the BMW 5-Series. Bi-Turbo Alpina B5 aluminum V8 engine which supplied power to provide 507 hp (373 kW) at 5500 rpm moderate, with maximum torque of 700nm 3000-4750 rpm. The “Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo” designations refer to the two turbochargers snuggle comfortably inside a cylinder-shaped block V-8. They work in parallel, each eating from the two cylinder banks. Alpina specially developed to work with Honeywell Garrett, a custom exhaust of large turbine.
