The main change to the Opel Antara is hidden under the hood as the engine line-up, the Euro-5 standard. Latest entry for the series is a newly developed 2.2-liter CDTI turbo diesel, which is equipped with two outputs: 163hp version which has 36 more horsepower than its predecessor, and 184-hp version offers 34 hp more. 163 hp version is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive and with a choice of manual or automatic transmission with six gears, while the 184 hp offers a manual or automatic transmission, and equipped with all-wheel drive as standard. As for the petrol line-up, 2.4-liter four-cylinder now produces 170 hp or 30 hp more power and when the diesel version, available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive and made available as manual or automatic six-gear transmission.
