Mercedes-Benz plans to unveil the latest edition of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series during the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series is powered by a 6.2-liter AMG V8 engine but thanks to modifications that include forged pistons, conrods and crankshaft, oil cooler 50% larger and a new ECU, churns out 517 hp (60 hp more than the standard model) and, more importantly, 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of asphalt-tearing torque. All the power in the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series is channeled into 19-inch rear wheels through the transmission of dual-clutch seven-speed AMG Speedshift. The gearbox has four modes and its fastest gear change time, in a Sport or Manual, just 100 milliseconds. Performance, of course, superb: the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph (100 km / h) in just 4.2 seconds.
The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series has a limited-slip differential is standard. New is that it is electronically controlled and associated with the ESP stability control system, which itself has three settings, and remarkable for the Mercedes, in its sportiest one totally disabled. Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series with the widened front and rear tracks by 40 mm and 70 mm respectively, and also features stiffer anti-roll bar with adjustable coil-over sport suspension. Braking system consists of 390 mm and 360 mm front discs rear, with six and four piston calipers respectively. Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series with a different front bumper with large air intakes, swollen wheel arches, chunkier side sills and rear bumper with quad exhaust redesigned.
Inside, the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series comes with a two-seat configuration, although it does offer Mercedes four-seat layout as an option. Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series Coupe also have a red belt, sport steering wheel covered with nappa leather and high-gloss piano black inserts on the dashboard along with the logo of the Black Series. Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series offers two optional packages with self-obvious names: Track package, equipped with Dunlop tires special and differential cooling and aerodynamic package with carbonfibre aerodynamic aids on the front bumper and rear spoiler carbonfibre. Sales of Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series is expected to begin in January, with prices starting in Germany € 115.430 ($ 165.722).
