Mercedes has published details of official 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK, to commemorate the 125th anniversary in Stuttgart until the end of this month, two-seater roadster has a new platform rear wheels, diesel variant and what engineers claim is more sporting chassis. Mercedes-Benz SLK recently fixed a warning on the fabric to re-version of the old model, folding hard-top model. Direct-injection engine 3.5-liter gasoline kick with 306bhp unit replaces the SLK line-up. But in combination with the performance of seven-speed automatic and a number of fuel-saving features, including start-stop and offer a much better standard and economy. SLK350 has a 0-62mph time of 5.6sec and 39.8mpg claimed combined. The new Mercedes-Benz SLK is also set to offer diesel engines: a, twin-turbocharged 2.1-liter four-pot with 204bhp. Replacement SLK55 was destined for the United Kingdom at the end of the year. It will use a version of AMG’s atmosphere, AOS 5.5-liter V8 is new, producing close to 420bhp.
