Reports claimed Jetta coupe is based on a hybrid, with power comes from the 148bhp version of VW £ 177 ft 1.4-liter TSI engine and 27bhp electric motor. Motor powered by lithium-ion battery and NCC can run for short distances only a short trip. The report also claims that CO2 emissions only 98g/km NCC and can achieve more than 50mpg. Top speed 141mph were reported, with 0-62mph takes 8.6secs.
